 Steel Security Palisade gates are manufactured in a choice of designs to compliment and co-ordinate with the range of fencing systems.
These gates are also designed to ensure the level of perimeter security is not compromised while still playing an important role in the flow of traffic and pedestrians.
Our Steel Security Palisade gates can also be provided in special designs to accommodate entrances which are the main feature to enhance the stature of the surroundings and add to the value of the property. Less prestigious entrances may benefit from practical gate designs that will not impose on the boundary but blend in with the perimeter.
Swing gates are one of the main styles of Steel Security Palisade. They are manufactured in a range designs to co-ordinate with any of the fencing systems or a more individual style for special products. Special hinges with bearings will ensure smooth movement where electrical operation is required.
Another style of Steel Security Palisade gates are sliding cantilever or round track. These gates have bearings on the top guides and bottom rollers to ensure ease of operation. This facility will allow gates to have electric drive motors fitted at a later date if required.
A range of security features are available to be built into Steel Security Palisade gates with provision for heavy security padbolts to manual gates, magnetic locks for electrically operated swing gates or drive units that cannot be reversed for electrically operated sliding gates. Safety features are built into all electric drive motors with a host of additional features such as warning lights and safety edges available.
Roundex Single Leaf Motorised Cantilever Sliding Gate
Wearside Fencing Ltd has installed many gates over many years but this has been the largest on our records.
The gate itself is 11 metres wide x 3 metres high. It consists of Roundex style materials to match in with the rest of the fencethat had been installed by our selves which meant that the gate was going to be exceptionally heavy. The foundations had to be re-designed because of the sheer weight of the gate and for the fact that the gate was going to be motorized.
The gates make-up means that it is a high security gate that will be able to with stand most impacts if required. Also because of its size motorization was a priority but also added excellent convenience for the shopping centre itself.
